  1. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.thewoodee.com. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

    You undertake that all details you provide for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the costs of the products you are purchasing.


    Placing your order

    Ordering from Woodee Limited is simple. Decide which products from the Woodee Range that you would to purchase in the ‘Shop’. Add the products you would like to the shopping basket and then proceed to the checkout. You will be able to complete your transaction through Worldpay, Paypal or by Direct Bank Transfer. Cards accepted are Mastercard, Maestro, Visa and Visa Debit. Worldpay and Paypal are 100% secure for your protection. You will be asked for your billing details at Worldpay’s secure site to make payment.

    After placing your order online, we will provide you with confirmation that your order has been received but this is not confirmation that your offer to buy the items has been accepted. Our contract for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you.

    Please note, under new distance selling regulations, customised and personalised items are not covered by the 14 day cooling off period and by ordering, you accept this.


    Description of products

    Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, measurements and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.

    Our products are unique and individually created from natural materials. Therefore slight variations in colour or grain of wood and blemishes or changes in surface pattern of the leather may occur. Handmade and wooden items vary, and it must be accepted that no two of a kind will ever be identical. Also, colours may vary slightly from the website due to screen display settings.

    The Woodees and straps are lasered which uses laser heat to burn through the wood and leather and therefore, those edges may be darker.



    Delivery cost are dependant upon the products you purchase. Minimum delivery cost is £3.50 and the maximum is £75 to UK mainland. Highlands and Islands, The Isle of Man and Northern Ireland unfortunately incur extra delivery costs. Please contact us prior to ordering to see what these costs are.

    We are happy to send The Woodee Range around the globe, again please contact us prior to ordering to obtain a delivery quote.

    Orders for products which are in stock are normally sent out within 3-5 days (excluding holidays and weekends). However many of our products are made to order and this can take between 3 weeks for a Fire Pit and 3 months for a Log Basket.  We will let you know an estimated delivery time once we have received your order, alternatively please contact us beforehand to arrange delivery.

    We use Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For deliveries and for larger orders, a courier service. If you would like your order despatched on a premium or faster service, please contact us. We will try our very best to get it to you when you need it.

    Full delivery costs will be shown in your shopping basket before checking out.


    Refunds and Exchanges

    We are sure you will love your order from Woodee Limited; but if you have ordered the wrong design Woodee for your wood burner you have 14 days from receipt of your order, to return it in its unused, original condition for a replacement of the correct design.

    We do not accept returns of personalised Woodees unless they are broken/faulty as these will have been created especially for you and cannot be resold.

    All our Fire Pits are handmade to order.  As this will have been handmade for you, we will not accept return unless it is faulty.

    You cannot return unwanted items after 14 days of purchase, nor can you return items that have been used.



    In line with the Distance Selling Regulations you also have a fourteen day cooling off period after receiving your order. If you wish to cancel your order please contact us in the first instance to arrange the return of the items. This can be done via our Contact Us page or you can download a Cancellation Form here.

    You cannot cancel an order for a personalised item or a handmade item to order once the order has been processed as this will have been created especially for you and cannot be resold.


    Returning an Item

    When returning an item these conditions must be met:

    • Contact us BEFORE you send the item back via our Contact Us page, or by emailing the Cancellation Form to louise@thewoodee.com.

    • Items must include all original packaging; be in an as new condition and must not have been used.

    • Items are your responsibility until they arrive on our premises.

    • Proof of postage must be obtained when the package is returned.

    A refund for the product price will be initiated once we have received the returned goods. The original delivery charge will not be refunded and you will be responsible for the delivery cost for returning the items.


    Damaged Goods

    Orders are checked before being dispatched and are packaged well to avoid damage during transit, however, we are only human and occasionally mistakes do happen. If your order reaches you in a damaged condition (this does not include natural knots or changes in the grain of the wood or blemishes in the leather or a patina on the steel), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace it. You will be required to email us with photos of both the item in the state that it arrived and the packaging it arrived in to louise@thewoodee.com. This enables a much faster resolution. You have 14 days following delivery to do this, after which we are not responsible.
